This is an inspiring article by Joe Dispenza, author of Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself. Dispenza writes that we limit ourselves by the belief that we are simply our physical selves. Because of this, we have developed the habit of looking outside ourselves for answers and ways to survive in a world of competition and strife, a world where we feel anxious, sad, frustrated, and alone. We consider this state of being the norm, our natural state. But what if it isn’t? What if we change our thinking and our old habits? What if we develop new habits that allow us to see ourselves as we really are, multidimensional beings capable of living lives filled with meaning, steeped in the higher frequency of love. Perhaps, Dispenza suggests, what we often describe as an altered state of consciousness is actually our true natural state of being. Why limit yourself?
